Wear and tear. The tube got rigid and started tearing away. The annoying part is getting to it..

I use that vac a lot...

All fixed..for now..

Just used an spare shop vac hose instead. Should hold up till i find a more flexible and durable hose to replace it..

I worked @ the shop all day. Did 13 area rugs, and used my Proteam vac, and my Kirby. When I used the Kirby, all I could smell was dog dander, and burnt rubber.... I tried it on all settings, and all different piles. New vac bag, and obviously need a new belt....

Ok actually I think that's what's on my Chinese knockoff wand but it's black. I had to retighten it yesterday because the plastic bends but it works good enough.

One of our shark rockets just had this happen. I took it apart and taped it up but it's not picking up like it should.

Guess I'll order a new hose or look at what's in the shed and see if i have something that might work.
