Save yourself some money and some grief. It's a small industry, you can't sell enough to make it worth your trouble.

Even if you could, by the time the vultures pick you apart and copy your ideas only to make a cheap knock off, your potential client base just got pared even thinner. Give up while you're ahead!
I think you should change emoji because this is definitely not William Wallace talk, more like Chicken Little

I do like the beer can holder idea, only for a coffee cup. Maybe an expandable screen for a quick pee later.

Don't sink too much money into your gadget until you have done more research... I have a feeling the problem that your gadget solves has already been solved by a current product.
If your gadget doesn't solve a problem then its not needed.

All this negativity, trepidation and cynicism, yet new products are being introduced into the industry every month. :) Many of them get wide acceptance even by the folks on this board.

Rich I think the least you could do is hold off until I talk him into sending me one for a thorough field test!

Sorry, I was just trying to burst his bubble.

Those people with bubbles are so damn annoying! :winky:
On thing I’ve noticed about people in the carpet cleaning industry that invent stuff Is that they’re all crazy. They are just nuts. All have their little odd quirks. Then they blow up and get pissy unexpectedly.

Being a life long underachiever, I really hate geniuses. :winky:

Most days I have enough trouble just making sure my undershirt and underwear's label is in the back.

I invented a wand with a HeadLight on it. It was LeD also. The problem was, the duct tape wouldn't secure it enough and it kept moving which was screwing up the light. So I gave up
If they don't find you handsome, they might as well find you handy.
