Is there anything you'd like to know or see?
Back in the 80s steamgeni had the hydro1 which was a dual vac system which used 2-3m suterbilt blowers in series to geta crap load of vacuum is steam action using similar techniques? In their Nike 3030? And is it carb compliant?

Ask then why the prefer the 5003Blower on the Raptor model vs. the 4007 blower that's on all the other 3cylinder truckmounts.

I'd like to know the pros and cons of that 5003. It has a noticeable difference in less CFM

437cfm @ 16" on the 4007 with a max rpm of 3600. Why choose a less performing vacuum motor???

Scott had some kind of problem with SA, but my take on it, correct or not, was Scott ordered a custom built TM. I think it may be safer to stick with the standard offerings.

I very much enjoyed my brief stay here

The flatness of it all reminds me of Indiana as does the downtown area but staying out here in the heartland instead of in town for two nights I got to see and experience true Middle America..

You found it great old hotel just using with character for the event and the Ronald McDonald House is certainly the most soiled one we've done specially the bamboo plank, porcelain tile and upholstery.
It's going to take at least a trucks and a whole bunch of scrubbing..

I look forward to coming back in March..

Thank you for asking that question. That narrows down my options if I get a steam action in the future. I'm going Stealth fighter!

Too big is better than too small

Nice interview. Steamaction was my first truckmount in the early 80s. I forgot the name but it was one of their smaller units. It had an Onan engine and lasted a LONG time. They originally had a 55-gallon drum for their waste tank which I didn’t care for but overall, the machine was pretty reliable. I’m glad you’re having Mikeyfest there next year, that’s about 20 min or so from my house. There is a very historic hotel not too far away in Excelsior Springs called the Elms. Lots of good bbq places in KC and great hospitality.
