Sometimes you just have to flush the soil out. Like the Walmart entrance.
Emcap only works when you can push the soil down out of sight.
Thats why vacuuming is the first step. You have to make room for what the pads can't pick up.
Sounds like the old Murphys oil soap slogan " the dirt is finish and the finish is fine"

A powered extraction brush with spray jets would be the way to go.
Too much trouble, i already use a ringer to dry um. Hands can only take so much 😂🤣😅

Lol I mean on very heavily soiled carpet.

I was thinking a 15 inch crb in a housing with a bunch of jets hooked to a truckmount vacuum. Dare I say a vacuum front and back with large slotted glides.

It would be the ultimate drag wand. Even put some wheels on it to make it a push pull system.

Probably one out there already but I couldn't find anything on a quick search.

About 3 or 4 months back someone posted a picture of a powerhead just as you just explained . It was built in Italy and was about 1500.00 ill be damned if i can find it now or any info. I actually found one on ebay back then . This is what i have but it doesn't have a brush there are a few portable machines that have an attachment like you described
Mine is, 16" wide, 4jets, zinc weighted, itll pickup virtually everything it puts out even at a stand still . Only has single vacuum slot though

Seems like a lot of you guys have a Cimex and an OP machine. If I was to buy a used vlm machine, would you recommend getting a Cimex or an OP to start with? I mostly do small to medium sized commercial when it comes my way..

I suppose an OP machine will be most recommended based on the scale of commercial I am involved in. But that Cimex is an ugly champ. I have never seen any decent vlm machine for sale on marketplace near me. Maybe I just miss them.

Funny though that right after I use the Cimex one pops up 45 minutes away from me at a good price.

I have a buffer for vlm.

I had a used cimex once. Im happy with the buffer.

I have a few boxes of cimex pads still and a bunch of old encap juice I should get rid of. Boxes of 17 and 20 inch pads and a bunch of bonnets I've had for years some still like new.

Once I got the butler from hagopian I stopped using all that stuff.

I am a cimex fan, but I clean schools connected to churches which have large areas. That being said I use both, but I would still choose the cimex since I use a trailer

Good to know. I fit the Cimex, my 175, 2 large snail fans, Multisprayer, rolling cart, and a bunch more on the floor in the back of my van on my big commercial day. It was stuffed though. I couldn't of done the big job with a trailer. Big apartment building in metro Hartford. I could barely fit my van near their loading dock on a busy street. I hope they have me back to clean the other 15 floors :]

I like the buffer I have too. It's really old, Uncle Larry gave it to me. I wish it had larger casters on it. Maybe I should modify it and see if I like it better.

Not many high rises here. I did have on elderly lady in a 5 story complex that I buffed her carpet but I think she passed away.
I did her house for a long time before she went to the high rise.
It was more of a favor. She was all crippled up.

I don't understand. You drill it into the drive
plate that you remove anyway. I certainly never keep the drive plate on my machine without a pad🤷🏼‍♂️
